As I wrote in the Video itself, David Crosby Crafted Songs that were Frequencies, Portals to Higher Dimensions, Gifts that if used properly, could propel us to enormous Heights, WITHIN ourselves, and Everybody's Been Burned is such a Song...

I still remember the first time that I heard it, I was in Grade 11 in Victoria, BC, Canada, and I had recently received my UVIC Student ID card from an older friend of mine, Norm Parkes, the first card that Norm received from the University of Victoria, referred to him as Norm Pankes, instead of Parkes, and voila, I was the recipient of the mistaken card...

This was clearly a gift to me from God, as this Card OPENED ENDLESS DOORWAYS for me that were essential for me to become who I am today...I was BORED and Frustrated with Prison, sorry, School, and I knew that I didn't want to be there, so, as I was an 'A' Student and ahead on all of my work, I began to skip classes, and began to Craft a Lifestyle for myself of Living in Book Stores, Record Stores, Stereo Equipment Stores and the UVIC Library...

One day, I visited the Basement of the UVIC Library and discovered that they had an extensive record Library, and what was even better, was that they had an area where Students could listen to these Albums via Turntables that were located UNDER large Workspace areas, so all I had to do was plug in Headphones, and I could work at UVIC, listening to Music, instead of being at School...

And it was here, in 1978/79 that I dove Headlong into the realm of Roll the Rock Music, and as I have shared with you before, in my lifetime, I have had around a Hundred Songs that just JOLTED me to my very core when I heard them, I relate this as being Struck by Lightning, because this is what it was Literally like for me, when these songs were first played to me...

The First Song that did this to me in my Life was when I was very young, and it was David Bowie's, Space Oddity (and interestingly, years later, it would be Bowie's Ashes to Ashes that did it to me again, featuring, once more, the Major Tom character)...

Then in 1977 it was Peter Frampton's, Do You Feel Like We Do and Steely Dan's, Josie...I was then that I became completely HOOKED into this Music, as it Opened Doors and Pathways within me towards Heaven, and Began my Lifelong Quest to Find God, no matter what the Price...

And then in the UVIC Library, I discovered The Byrds and David Crosby...and when I played the Younger than Yesterday album, which I loved, Everybody's Been Burned Before simply BLEW me away...the Rawness of the Song, both Musically and Lyrically, reached Deep Inside My Soul, and shook me, and to this Day, I am still emotionally connected to this Song; thus, as it is with ALL of these Songs on my List, I am PRIVILEGED to be ABEL to create Meaningful, Deeply Encoded Videos to these Brilliant Creations...for me, it is Paying Back to these Bands and Artists, in a small way, how much I appreciate their Alchemical, Artistic Creations AWAKENING ME towards Higher Ground...and to that end, I will continue to try to re-pay this debt of Kindness forward in the Hopes that Others will come to these songs, as I did, in FASCINATION, changing their Lives Forevermore...
