Two really interesting copy bands were the choices for today's Segue City Special by the Mayor. He went with the Hindley Street Country Club doing a top Hall & Oates song and then he rolls in Leonid & Friends, that Russian copy band that has found a home in the US doing a Stevie Wonder number that a lot of people may not recognize but it still works regardless... have a happy Saturday - we will and we'll save you some sunshine if you come down this way...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
