Isaac & Christ Compared.
You have read the account in Genesis 22, and it has troubled you.
But, if you look at it as a foretelling, a foreshadowing of what would take place over 2000 years later, then you will see the cross.
Isaac carried the wood on his shoulders, he ascended up the same hill that Jesus walked up to the cross - Mount Mariah (Jerusalem).
