Eric Adam's dismissed a constituent's complaints regarding rent increases by comparing her to a "plantation owner". The Job of Mayor is to serve the people, so you work for them. Saying a constituent is a treating you as a "slave" because they are unhappy with the job you are doing is the most pathetic cop-out.
