LOST TREASURES - Lewis Carroll and Lost Roman Mileforts (Series 1 - Episode 3) #archaeology

The third episode moved to Daresbury in Cheshire well known as the birthplace of Lewis Carroll, writer of ‘Alice In Wonderland’, but less well known for it’s Roman and Anglo-Saxon archaeology.

Series One (6 Episodes) ended in 2005 with an amazing 26% of the North West viewing public tuning in. ITV Granada’s Lost Treasures then joined the top 6 national programs nominated by ITV News Group as ‘Popular Feature Program Of The Year’ at their top London awards ceremony. It enjoyed repeated international screenings on Sky History Channel (at some points running 3 times a day).
