Vietnam has no native apes within its borders. Yet villagers and countless soldiers on both sides of the conflict reported to have seen them, or rather “ape-like creatures” similar to Bigfoot, when fighting in the country’s dense jungles during the Vietnam War. Unlike the docile and curious nature attributed to Bigfoot sightings, these red-haired bipedal apes were highly aggressive and territorial. Often charging soldiers and throwing rocks.
