The green energy projects - so far - have all proven to have HUGE downsides...

Example - TX has enlarged its electrical grid infrastructure but are within less than 1% of maxing it out.

WHY?

It all comes down to availability - the green energy is great during the day, and for the most part as long as the sun is not blocked out, the winds are blowing or have not blown over the windmills (and are not easily trashed for multiple reasons).

And what about solar panels?

As long-time owners are discovering since their 25-30 year life cycle for the earliest panels is coming to an end, you have to remove what amounts to a biohazard, you can't just throw them out.. And biohazard waster removal is NOT cheap.
