The Giro Tremor MIPS Unisex Youth Cycling Helmet is perfect for active kids who are always on the move, whether on balance bikes or pedal bikes.
I recently upgraded my 4-year-old daughter from the Scamp to this helmet, and it has been the best option for sizing up.
The helmet fits excellently, just like my mountain bike helmet, with full coverage around the base of her head, which is not provided by normal helmets.
The sizing is accurate as per the description, and the visor is great for keeping the sun off her eyes, while the bright green color improves her visibility to cars.
The helmet looks cool in green and works like a safety vest without the risk of other kids making fun of her. Fully adjustable straps make it easy to fit the helmet to her head, and I believe this will last until she is 8-10 years old.
Overall, I cannot recommend this helmet enough. It is well worth the price. One downside to the helmet is the neon pink color, which looks cheap and is quite off-putting.
I deducted one star only because of the color. However, there are other colors that the helmet is offered in, which would definitely make better choices for a helmet of such high quality.
