Autopsy Report showed the fatal shot to RFK was point blank to three inches
The Autopsy report showed that the distance between the muzzle that fired the fatal shot and RFK's body was anywhere from point blank to three inches. Eyewitnesses tell us that Sirhan was at least five feet away from him when he began to fire his gun, making it impossible for him to have been the one to shoot the bullet at point blank range. The police never asked about the muzzle distance of shots until people began to pick apart the official story.
Reports of bullet holes in the pantry cause issues because of the limited amount of ammunition in Sirhan's weapon. What happened to those bullets? Sirhan's lawyer suggested that the FBI removed the door frames and ceiling panels and destroyed the evidence.
