Matthew 9:12-13 New King James Version
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, [a]to repentance.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

Every time I read the story of Matthew, as well as the woman at the well, Zacchaeus, and yes, even the woman taking an adultery, I'm blown away by the compassion and mercy that Jesus showed to these people, even though they didn't deserve it. I'm shocked, but also impressed by how Jesus was willing to spend time with tax collectors like Matthew and Zacchaeus, as well as every other Sinner imaginable, to let them know that even though they were sinners, that they were loved by an almighty God, and could be set free of their sin if they would only let them.

I think that's why the questions from this morning’s devotional really convicted my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them too.

When have you noticed God at work in a place that surprised you?

What adjustments might you make to be open to the Spirit leading you into unexpected places?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from not just this passage of scripture, but also from the accounts of the people I mentioned above, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that it will get you to think, and challenge you to want to be part of God's mission to reach the lost in those unexpected places. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn how you can be God's representative to those unexpected places! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to not just think about who you know needs to hear the gospel, but to be willing to go beyond your comfort zone to share the gospel with others. To not let your preconceived notions, prejudices, or any hang ups you might have about someone or someplace that God is calling you to be His representative to and be willing to answer the call! Don't let those preconceived notions, prejudices, or hang ups get in the way of you sharing the message of hope and salvation to those unexpected places, and most unexpected of people, but be obedient to His call. God's giving you everything that you need to equip you to be a part of the mission, you just need to do it!

UNTIL FRIDAY DEAR FRIENDS:

HAVE A SWEET, PEACEFUL, AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
