Corvette Rezkiy intercepts Moskit anti-ship cruise missile within company trial in Sea of Japan
▫️Corvette Rezkiy destroyed a cruise missile fired by a mock enemy surface ship.
▫️ The role of the enemy ship was played by R-20 missile boat, which launched Moskit anti-ship cruise missile into the area of the corvette from a distance of over 90 km.
▫️ The personnel of Rezkiy radio-technical combat unit detected the launch of the target missile and escorted it, after which the crew of Redut anti-aircraft missile system destroyed the supersonic target at a safe distance for the ship. Simultaneously with the SAM system, a 100-mm A-190 artillery gun fired at the target.
▫️ The area where the missile firing was carried out was closed to civilian navigation. Safety of the firing was ensured by 15 warships and supply vessels of the Pacific Fleet.
