I want to take a moment to reflect on the gun that kickstarted it all for me—the Taurus Millennium Pro PT140.

Let me tell you, this little beauty changed my life in the best way possible.

Now, here's the deal: before encountering this firearm, I had never laid a finger on a gun because I didn't grow up in a pro-gun household, and my perspective on firearms was skewed by the notion that only criminals or law enforcement carried them.

Ignorance was my shield, or so I thought.

But then, a close friend invited me to the range. At first, I hesitated. I mean, why would I want to be surrounded by people wielding deadly weapons?

Little did I know, I had been living my entire life surrounded by individuals who owned guns—I just hadn't realized it. It was an eye-opener, to say the least. So, I mustered up the courage and entered the range, nerves tingling.

As I stepped through those doors, the sound of gunfire filled the air, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of apprehension.

Walking past the first door, shielding us from the noise, I was hit with the realization that I was about to spend time in a place where anyone could use those guns to end my life.

It was a sobering thought, but it propelled me forward.

We settled into the last stall on the left, my friend guiding me through the basics. He fired his shot, and then it was my turn.

I picked up that Taurus Millennium Pro and my hands were trembling.

I extended my arms, pulled the trigger, and BOOM! The recoil startled me—it felt like an explosion in my hands. I quickly regained composure, and that's when it happened.

The second shot, that's when I fell head over heels for shooting.

The initial surprise had passed, and I realized I could control this explosion. Shooting became an exhilarating experience, an escape from the stresses of life.

From that moment forward, I embarked on a journey into the world of firearms—a path that led me to where I am today, sharing my passion on YouTube and the internet.
