Anheuser Busch America CEO Brendan Whitworth went on CBS Morning to explain how the company is handling the Bud Light disaster, post Dylan Mulvaney. What he aimed to do and how it went are completely different outcomes.

No one who watched that interview came away satisfied, because Whitworth continued to straddle the line, not offend anyone and play hard in the middle. It was another non-apology that isn't going to win anyone back.
