A Delta Air Lines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) in North Carolina Wednesday after its nose gear failed to go down. As Delta’s Boeing 717 plane approached CLT, the pilots became aware of an issue with the front landing gear and cooperated with air traffic control to safely land the aircraft. There were no reported injuries to the 96 passengers and five crew members on board.
