Mega Gatling Pea is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Mega Gatling Pea costs 400 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and -50 Sun at level 10).
Mega Gatling Pea shoots four (4) peas which do 20 damage each. (+10 damage per level).
Mega Gatling Pea gains 2% chance to initiate its plant food effect. (+1% at level 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10).
When given plant food, Mega Gatling Pea will fire 150 peas in two (2) seconds.
Mega Gatling Pea will fire an additional pea for the rest of the round after being given plant food OR its plant food effect has been initiated. Chevrons will appear on plants promoted this way.

The Good:
• One of the highest damage non-Bombard-Mint plants in the game.
• Permanent plant food effect.
• Can initiate its own plant food effect.
• Great Synergy with Pea Vine, Torchwood and Appease-Mint.

The Bad:
• Expensive cost at lower levels.
• Can be tough to deploy if Sun Production is light or the level has many early zombies.
• Excavator zombies - shovels block peas.
• Jester zombies - they reflect peas
• Tombstones - high health tombstones will be an effective shield for the zombies.
• Imp Dragon zombies if peas are ignited via Torchwood.

Commentary:
400 Sun for 4 Peashooters may not sound like much. However the space savings is noticeable.
400 Sun for 2 Repeaters may not sound like much. Yet the space savings is good.
Mega Gatling's Sun cost drops by 25 for each level which will totally make even that argument moot.
You can plan for using Mega Gatling Pea by selecting multiple Sun producers if need be.

Bottom Line:
GET THIS PLANT!
This is one of the BEST plants in the game. There is simply no reason to get this plant. There is no reason not to promote this plant.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
