7 Days to Die - A21 - Horde Night #3

Thunder rumbles, and the sky reddens as the twilight deepens... this can only mean one thing -- Happy Horde Night, Everyone!

As our gamestage increases - a calculation balancing the difficulty against our combined experience - the horde nights become more dangerous, and we must fortify our base with extra defences and arm ourselves better in order to stay alive. At the moment we seem to be head of the curve, but we never know when the tipping point will be - when the horde becomes too much for our base to handle.

One downside of a game like 7 Days to Die, which has been this long in development, is that it has outlasted the friendships we've made along the way. People fell away to play other things, or maybe didn't like a major change brought in, or maybe saw major changes to their actual lives that they couldn't devote the time to the game.

In any event, this is the first time I have managed to make it to the third consecutive horde night without needing to restart for a myriad of reasons. At some point my base design is going to fail and I hope we get to see it - that panicky moment when the whole thing comes down beneath us and you have to think fast!
