Fishing CLEAR water for Crappie (Summer Crappie Fishing 2019)

Last weekend I traveled to southern Wisconsin to fish with a friend from College. Due to the Mississippi River being flooded, we decided to try a local lake we had fished back at school. The bluegill spawn was in full swing, and the crappie had started to pull off their beds and into the first set of weeds. Our setup was simple: Cork, split shot, aberdeen hook, and live minnow. Unfortunately we didn't bring enough minnows and had to switch to jigs, but that didn't matter. The crappie hit the jigs with a little finesse action.
