Canyon Lake, Texas tested my patience, but as the old saying goes "Persistence pays off"! After three days with very little to show on my Texas tour, I went back up the Guadalupe river to a spot I found a few small crappie. This time there were bigger crappie on the submerged trees, and thanks to a hand tied marabou jig from SKCrappieCatchingAdventures I boated a number of nice crappie.
