Crappie Fishing on Lake of the Ozarks is an experience I will never forget. Hooking up to over 100 Fish and flopping them in the boat, while trying to set on one of the other 5 crappie rods we had in water was a combination of chaos and excitement. This was my first time Spider Rigging for crappie, and it will be a crappie fishing technique I will use for the rest of my life. Of course there are certain situations where other tactics outperforms spider rigging, but when winter crappie are spread across a feeder creek, bay, or creek channel, there is no better way to catch a ton of crappie than spider rigging.
