The Weak and Foolish Things - Genesis 44

Your sins will find you out. It is a truism. Judah’s sins have found him out and he is not confused about it. He is not guilty of the crime he and his brothers are charged with, but he is guilty of horrible sins and wisely sees that God is using this moment…to find him out! You too will be found out. When you are, will you have the wisdom of Judah to fall on your face for mercy? He could have said it was unfair. He could have gone on home and left his brother for dead. Instead, he chose to be a man and restore what was lost through self-sacrifice.
