Fellowship of Guelphissauga: New Library, Hanlon Encampment Eviction, & Big Mayor Powers | June 2023

The Fellowship of Guelphissauga continues with the ground breaking of the new library and the looming Big Mayor Powers(1). Even JG returned to the Shire from his retirement in BC for celebrating the new $62 million library. Meanwhile, the Housing Cost Crisis spread across the Shire with the eviction of the Hanlon Bridge campers and more appeals to the Lords of the Ontario Land Tribunal. After going quiet for several days, the Mayor finally wrote a lengthy tweet about his new Big Mayor Powers looming on the horizon(2). Can the Elder Elves find solutions to the Housing Cost Crisis and will the Mayor use his new veto powers?
