Birth and Development: Baby foxes are typically born in the spring, around March or April, depending on the region. A litter of fox cubs usually consists of four to six kits. They are born blind, deaf, and completely dependent on their mother for the first few weeks.

Denning: Fox cubs are born in underground dens, which are usually dug by the mother fox. The den provides protection and a safe space for the vulnerable cubs. As they grow older and more mobile, the kits start exploring the area around the den but continue to return to it for rest and safety.
