I had to reconnect with a Problems of Democracy teacher from my highschool because many of my family were saying I was making up wild conspiracies about China/Iran bribing our government. After my teacher helped, now many of my family do talk about the problem of non-jailable bribery in campaign contributions and how it allows China to puppet our politicians.
