Rupert suggests that love stems from recognizing our shared essence as beings. Whether it's the love we feel for our close companions, family, friends, strangers, or even those we may not like, it all originates from the same source. However, the way we manifest this love may vary.

Among the various expressions of love, friendship holds a distinct place. A romantic relationship, in essence, is an extension of friendship that operates on multiple levels. While sexual intimacy plays a significant role, the underlying love remains unchanged.

The best way to identify a partner for yourself would be to look for someone in whom there was very little sense of lack and the best way to make yourself very attractive to a potential partner, would be to reduce the sense of lack in yourself. By freeing yourself from this sense of inadequacy, you open up to the universe, allowing it to manifest in the form of someone who appreciates your wholeness and absence of lack.
