Pride Goes Before Destruction

This morning we’ll be talking about some of the more elusive news articles that are not being reported on by most main stream news outlets and we’ll also be talking about the snare and deception of something called “pride”.

Just what does an abundance of pride lead to and what is it that we who are true God fearing, Messiah following, cross bearing Christians need to be focused on during this rather strange month called… “Pride Month”?

Proverbs chapter 16 verse18 tells us that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall… and James chapter 4 verse 6 tells us that God opposes the proud but extends his grace to the humble. And therefore, as we comb through some rather important to know and understand news and information this morning we’ll also be slowing down enough to give some thought to just how dangerous an overdose of pride can be.
