Israel's unfaithfulness: breaking the yoke with the Lord

God was not pleased with Israel's unfaithfulness and referred to them as an adulterous wife. In the prophets, He warned that there would be consequences for breaking the yoke and bursting the bonds of the Lord's covenant.
