I'M FIGHTING DEPRESSION / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: Yesterday my friend who has anxiety & depression was told from a fellow Christian that depression is an evil spirit and can be prayed for and be free from it all together. I believe in the Bible. We have the power through Jesus to do that but is it really an evil spirit? In these uncertain days with all kinds of anxiety, panic disorders and depression, we should be hard at work as Christians I think? So what is your take on this?
