There are such things as MASS Delusions. If we are going to enact solutions to our greatest problems and crises we must first acknowledge what we've been collectively denying. We've been in denial about our connectivity and the power of our mutual influence on each other. You see, there is not any real 'gap' between the rich and the poor, there's only balnace or imbalance in the whole Human-we. Right now, we are imbalanced and it shows in our warped perspectives and behaviors. We behave as if we're unaffected by what happens to other people. But, that's a delusion. What impacts one, impacts all. If even one human is under threat of poverty then the the whole human-we is compromised. What affects one human, affects all of humanity.
This is the reality we deny when we act as if it's okay for 'some' people to starve and 'some' people to be homeless. And we act as if there's nothing we can do. There is something we can do, put a 250BOYCOTT sign in your window, show your vote for the new human economy.
