Hernando County Schools Transgender Wars--part 13

On August 10, 2021, angry parents confronted Hernando County, FL, School Superintendent, John Stratton, with complaints that the school district was quietly implementing Critical Race Theory. Here is Mr. Stratton’s rousing speech to those parents about his passion for “equity” and “diversity”, which caused current School Board Chair, Gus Guadagnino, to swoon.

Since that time, the Hernando School District has transformed itself into a “woke” paradise and, now that we have experienced the incredible results of Superintendent Stratton’s stewardship, it is only right that we share them with the rest of America.

Thank you Mr. Stratton. You’re a peach, big boy!

Background

A transgender teacher made threats against his students, which were reported to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). HCSO issued a Risk Protection Order (RPO) and three firearms were confiscated. Superintendent John Stratton and Board Chair Gus Guadagnino permitted this teacher back into the classroom on the next regular school day and failed to alert the affected parents and staff in regard to the potential danger.

They also failed to inform two new school board members, Ms. Shannon Rodriguez and Mr. Mark Johnson, whom they feared might put a halt to their plans to quietly reinsert the teacher back into the classroom. Since that time, Messrs. Stratton and Guadagnino have sought to divert attention from their negligence and turn the matter into a very public attack, primarily upon Ms. Rodriguez.
