Optimism’s Chrism

[Spiritual or Inspirational Poem Collection] -
Optimism’s value is being likened to a blessing with ‘chrism oil’. A gift we can naturally have or develop as we experience life.

It was written in 19th January 2023 and is housed within part of a grouping that I refer to as 'Spiritual or Inspirational'. This collection contains 'a range of Heart and Soul (Healing) based rhymes'.

Poem wording -

Optimism’s Chrism

I always had optimism.
Even through times, being met with derision!
Always had its’ strength inside
Knew that ‘core of love’ within did reside.

Optimism – it’s kept me out of
Many of life’s schisms.
Kept my heart going through
Scams and divisions.
Such a blessed ‘oil of chrism’, is optimism.

It acts like a balsam for all ails,
Through notions to manifestations; and epic fails!
It prevails, a gift from the Holy Spirit,
To help hold to account and keep in merit.

I don’t know what I did to deserve it.
But, I’ve always used it and tried to share it.

So, if you’ve not had it before in your life
Just bless your wee forehead with this
‘oil of chrism’ and state the intention
For alchemy in action,
Then sleep for the night.

I know wishes are granted and
You’ll wake up, with it’s delight
Filled with optimism – right!!
