The WED clay is following the lines of my somewhat crude Boer goat skull, with the only real sculpting so far being done on the front of the muzzle (lips and nose) and the eyelids. Taking the time to build the skull, based on photos of a real one taken from all sides made a huge difference. The clay is also making a big difference, because it goes on so much faster than the crumpled foil and hot glue.

WED clay is wet clay with something added to keep it from drying out too fast, and it's really nice for sculpting, It can't be fired. It was originally made for Walt Disney, so that's where the WED comes from. You can get the clay some local pottery supply stores, or buy it online at http://amzn.to/2jtiaM7
