Meet Jonni Good, Animal Prints

This is my video for my new About page on my new site. You know me from UltimatePaperMache.com, but Now I'm also spending time at https://JonniGood.com and my new wildlife portraits are bringing up a lot of old memories.

I first sold animal prints at the Pike Place Market in Seattle in the 70s, way back in the distant past before they invented the iPod. :)

Back then, I couldn't afford to print anything in color, so all my animal prints were black and white. There were no acid-free, fade-proof inks available, and the new digital printers hadn't been invented yet.

After a few years, I went to work in 'real' jobs, but I always wanted to get back to art. In 2002 I started my first website, and a few years later I started UltimatePaperMache.com.

And now, I'm going back to my roots, and creating animal portraits again. Instead of a technical pen and black ink, I'm now using several digital programs to make full-color paintings. With each painting I make, I try hard to show how much I admire and respect the animals the paintings represent, and I hope that each one will look like the portrait of a friend. I want them to be a part of your family for a long time.

I do still get emails from people who bought one of my prints way back there at the Pike Place Market, in the 70s.

Since I sold those first black and white animal prints, digital printers and fade-proof, acid-free inks were invented, which allows me and other artists to sell affordable fine art prints on museum-quality paper. My new Giclee prints will look beautiful on your walls for many years if you treat them like you would any other piece of art.

If you have any questions or suggestions, I'd love to hear from you. Is there an animal that you think I should add to my collection? Let me know. :)
