Fur Texture With Paper Mache Clay

This video shows a fast and easy way to create a fur texture using paper mache clay. I used my new tiger mask pattern for the video, but this would work for a long-haired dog, for the fur around the edge of a wolf's face, or even a man's beard.

When you pull the paper mache clay this way, the tiny paper fibers stick out, creating a feathery look. I'm also creating dips that show up nicely as shadows, even before the piece is painted.

White tiger? Orange tiger?

I really would love to know what you think about the 'white vs orange' question. They're both beautiful colors, so which one should I choose for my tiger?

After he's done I'll the back part that turns him into a wearable mask and hang him on the wall. That way, he will show up in my future videos. So orange or white - which one do you vote for?
