I made this pattern for a simplified skull-shaped form to make sculpting a head a lot easier (and it's a much less expensive than the resin skull I've often used in the past). This cardboard sculpting form leaves out all the holes that you see in a real skull, but it still has the basic features that help create realistic human faces with clay.
