Simple Bobber and Jig Rig for Crappie in Shallow Water (Early Summer Pattern)

When locating crappie on a new lake during the late spring or early summer, one of the best techniques is a simple Bobber and Jig setup. Casting this setup over a shallow weed bed (2-8ft) while slowly popping the bobber and jig, then letting the jig sit for a few seconds is a great tactic to trigger early summer crappie to bite, especially during the middle of the day.
