Go-To Lure for Post spawn Crappie, Bass, and Pike

During the post spawn season crappie will move toward the deeper water from their spawning grounds. The deeper water is usually from 5-12ft and consists of thick weedlines. During cloudy/overcast or windy days, crappie will suspend outside of the weed edges feeding on baitfish. On sunny and calm days, crappie will seek safety in the thick weed mats. The square bill is one of my go-to lures to search for crappie along these weed edges.
