Painting a Paper Mache Pig

In this video I show you how I quickly painted my paper mache pig. The pattern had already been cut out and taped together, and the expression had been added with small bits of aluminum foil and a hot glue gun.

After one layer of paper mache was dry, it was time to paint him, and hang him on my wall.

If you'd like to see the products I used on amazon.com you can follow these links:

Acrylic Gesso: https://amzn.to/2QRSxFC
Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid: https://amzn.to/2C9pjdr
The paint: https://amzn.to/2SI3JC5

I used Black, White, Burnt Umber and Cadmium Red Light -

I'll varnish my pig with DecoArt Ultra Matte varnish because I really like a matte finish on my animal sculptures, and this varnish is perfect for the look I happen to like. https://amzn.to/2UAnrlb

You can use any brand of acrylic varnish you happen to like. It will protect the paint surface, and it makes it easier to wipe the dust off piggie's nose.
