As the water temperature drops into the 30s and 40s crappie can be finicky eaters at times. A great lure pattern to make them bite is a slim profile paddle tail swimbait like the Eurotackle B-Vibe. These small swimbaits have an erratic tail action causing a reaction strike from crappie. Cast this over a submerged tree or rockpile and slowly retrieve, you will fill your limit of fish in no time.
