This video demonstrates how to tie the double jig crappie rig for spring crappie fishing. This rig is great for crappie fishing during the pre-spawn and post spawn phase when crappie are deeper than 10ft. The double jig crappie rig can be vertically jigged or casted and retrieved. Crappie during the Pre-spawn phase will stage on the outer edges of the spawning bays. Casting this rig along deeper weed edges are flooded trees will catch a lot of fish this time of year.
