This is Part 4 of a series for making a paper mache dog - a Basset Hound. Today we add the big feet with small bits of foil. You can find the pattern for the Basset Hound here: https://www.ultimatepapermache.com/bassethound

This could be a fairly advanced project, but it will be easy if we do it in small steps. I hope we can all make a Basset Hound together - more videos coming soon.

For this part of the project you'll need:

Newspaper and masking tape, or aluminum foil and a hot glue gun. I used foil this time because it's a lot easier when working on small bits like toes - but you can also use paper and masking tape, along with a little bit of patience.

We're using the same methods in this project that I used in my book Make Animal Sculptures with Paper Mache Clay, but in that book I don't use any foil at all. All the projects are made with cardboard patterns, crumpled paper and masking tape, and paper mache clay.
