If you see me crying for no apparent reason, mind ya business

Did you know that your progesterone drops after ovulation and going into your Luteal phase? Progesterone is considered your “happy” hormone so naturally, when there’s not as much of it present in the body, you’ll be more inclined to feel sad or moody. Your physical energy also declines during this phase and we all know that the more fatigued we are the easier it is to get emotional.

Being emotional isn’t a bad thing- actually a good cry can help release excess estrogen! Just be aware during this phase not to do things that are causing you extra stress. Instead, you’ll be more inclined to turn inward, and want to prioritize detail-driven responsibilities, cleaning, organizing, and administrative things.

Try to make an effort to slow down your social engagements during this phase as well so you don’t feel needlessly exhausted.

If you want to know more about cycle syncing and your hormone phases, pop a question in the comments or find me in my DMs. It’s one of my favorite things to talk about!
