12 weeks out! Last feast with the Sushi platter before the famine!

Feast or Famine! That's the life of a body builder. This past weekend I had my last feast of Sushi before I compete. From here on out it's going to get very serious. The reason I had so much sushi? Well, I'm also a hockey player. Although I am training for a Natural Men's Physique competition, I still do other things! I love hockey and I love snowboarding. And while you might think they go well together, that isn't always the case. You see, with Natural Bodybuilding, your performance in the gym and in the cardio sessions doesn't actually matter.

But against another player? It absolutely does. I just came home from a hockey tournament. That is the last place you want to be if you are driving on fumes. So I made sure to carb load very heavy for this tournament! I still weighed in daily, kept an eye on the calories, but made sure that for just a few days, I ate for performance, not for fat loss.

Now that my hockey season is officially over, I have 12 weeks to get as shredded as possible. The climb only gets steeper from here! You are going to see in the coming weeks that my diet becomes more extreme, and that the cardio does too. I want to preface this by saying that if you are struggling to lose weight, you don't need to go at it with the level of intensity that I am. You would be best off losing the weight slowly and under control. Despite the fact that we may have two different goals, there's still much you can learn from what I am doing! There is no reason not to do a modified approach in your own life, one that is made more sustainable for long term success. Join me as I go over the plan!
