Add this to your health repertoire. Do your own research on the health benefits; they are plentiful. In my perspective, macrobiotic foods are a good starting point for improving your diet. Essentially, this means consuming local, in-season foods native to the land. Now, technically, papayas are not native to Thailand. However, please be careful mentioning this to Thai people, as papaya salad is a staple and a significant part of their culture. Papayas were actually brought to Thailand around 400 years ago from South America, likely by the Portuguese. Nevertheless, this healthy tea offers numerous benefits and has a pleasantly mild flavor.
