King Palm Slabs fresh after cut.

someone dropped off a good King palm Stump to the shop. this is about half the usable stock, the heart is too soft for anything but inlays so it will be set aside to dry for a few years, then Top sawn into "plates" for me to scroll saw into inlays. the top grain of palm is really neat looking once its dried and compressed. just expect it to be soft and crumbly when trying to cut/sand without sanding sealer.
Thanks For watching.
