This video is actually a practice video to prepare for editing an upcoming Wolfventures episode titled "Francis VS Crimson Rose". In this practice video, I am using Davinci Resolve 18 and learning how to do color correction AND learning how to use key frames.

Color Correction: Color Correction allows editors to "correct" colors in videos by allowing them to be brighter or higher contrast than presented in the original taping or recording. For example, if lighting needs to be more brighter, an editor can enhance the lighting using color correction by adjusting brightness, shadows, and other needs. In this video, color correction is presented by the screen turning a red color, where normally its not red.

Key Framing: Key Framing (AKA Key Frames) is a technique that allows video editors to animate objects, images, or other things in videos. Normally, this is done more with pictures / images as they are more of the dynamic entities of a video. For example, you can animate a subscribe reminder to your viewers. For this video however, I went with a more dynamic approach and combined key frames and color correction, presented by having the screen go from normal to red in a few seconds, then back to normal.

What was I trying to do?: In this portion of this upcoming VRChat video, my goal was to use both key framing AND color correction to present a scene where Francis's energy is being drained by the vines presented in this world. The vines in terms of this story are a product of Crimson Rose (played by Gia the Dark Angel) as her garden is filled with them. These techniques are presented when the screen all of a sudden goes red. Each time that happens, Francis's energy is drained. This happens several times throughout the video. Note however, that in this particular scene, Francis is trapped inside of the vines. Even if the screen does not turn red, his energy is still being drained. I am not gonna keep flashing the screen due to viewers potential eye problems later on.
