Canada: Raquel Dancho: 0 Days in Prison for Sexual Assault

Last November, the Liberals made it possible for sex offenders to avoid spending a single day behind bars.
This was a feature of Bill C-5, not a bug. Its purpose was to "allow for a greater use of conditional sentences [house arrest]".
Not even 2 months later, a man was convicted of sexual assault and allowed to serve his sentence at home.
This is not justice.
Canada's Conservatives are the only party which will scrap this law and bring back mandatory prison time for serious sexual crimes.
