You don’t need to “believe women.” You don’t need to “believe POC”

Women, people of color, women of color do not inherently and automatically deserve your belief, your deference. It is every bit as discriminatory and harmful to believe an individual just because he or she comes from a certain demographic, as it is to NOT believe an individual just because he or she comes from a certain demographic. Not to mention it’s mere pandering. Treat people like the individuals they are. Stop viewing people as mere members of broad groups, who never amount to anything more than “oppressor” or “oppressed.” #sexism #liberals #republicans #clownworld #conservative #democrats
