I played Super Mario RPG as a Kid. Why is this the BEST RPG for kids?
If you are a parent looking for a great RPG to get your kids to play & love the genre, there is no better game out there for kids than SUPER MARIO RPG.
I played it as a kid, as a teen & as an adult. It has stood the test of time & will always be a masterpiece.
It's a light hearted Super Mario game on an epic adventure in a semi 3D world. All the characters are large & vibrantly colorful. There is not a single throw away character in the game because even the background NPCs have a life & character of their own. The game is simple & easy to play without it being a bore & childish. There is a lot of humor that will make you chuckle. Puzzles are a fair challenge with the hardest puzzle is the Tadpole Pond musical puzzle.
Enemies are varied & never over stay their welcome & are plentiful. You will definitely die a few times & the final boss can take you almost an hour even at max level.
The story is your typical Mario must save Princess Peach as she has been kidnapped by Bowser...Wait, WHAT? NOT Bowser? Play the game to find out by who & why Super Mario has teamed up with Bowser.
You will encounter plenty of familiar faces & voices on your journey & a ton of new characters both allies & Enemies. Mallow & Geno being the 2 most prominent. (God I love this game.)
You will not be disappointed in Super Mario RPG, even if you are not an RPG fan, it's hard to resist the draw & allure of Super Mario RPG.
The only 2 questions this game will leave you baffled with will be: WHY DID WE NOT GET THIS SOONER & WHY DON'T WE HAVE A SEQUEL?
I am contemplating playing the Super Nintendo Super Mario RPG before the remake comes out. Will you watch?
