Club Q gunman pleads guilty, accepts plea agreement of five life sentences without parole

Club Q mass shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich pled guilty Monday morning to five counts of first-degree murder and accepted a plea agreement to serve five consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. 23-year-old Aldrich, who identifies as nonbinary and was referred to as “Mx. Aldrich” by the judge, also pled guilty to 46 counts of attempted murder in the first degree. On November 19, 2022, Aldrich killed five people and injured 25 others in a mass shooting at an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
