Australian PM Albanese supports court decision voiding proposed Russian embassy site

In an interview with Nine News Monday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese voiced support for his country’s High Court’s decision dismissing Moscow’s bid on a proposed embassy site in Canberra. The court cited national security concerns in its ruling to terminate Russia’s 99-year lease on a planned diplomatic compound adjacent to Australia’s parliament.
